The South Ferry dock is on North Ferry Road in North Haven, just north of Sag Harbor. From Route 114, follow signs for the Shelter Island Ferry.

Fastest Route Across Shelter Island โ€” South Ferry to North Ferry

After you drive off the South Ferry on Shelter Island, it is a quick 10-minute drive across the island to the North Ferry dock. Follow Route 114 north โ€” it is the main road and the fastest route. The total distance is about 5 miles.

Tip: If you are passing through Shelter Island between the Hamptons and the North Fork, allow about 30 minutes total โ€” including both ferry crossings and the drive across the island.
