The Shelter Island Historical Society preserves and shares the rich history of Shelter Island through exhibits, archives, walking tours, and the historic Havens House museum at 16 South Ferry Road. The Society’s gift shop features locally made artworks, Shelter Island-themed ceramics, jewelry, and historical publications. Open Wednesday through Saturday in season.
