The North Ferry dock is at the end of 3rd Street in Greenport village, right on the waterfront. Look for the ferry terminal signs as you approach.
Fastest Route Across Shelter Island โ North Ferry to South Ferry
Once you drive off the North Ferry on Shelter Island, it is a quick 10-minute drive across the island to the South Ferry dock. Follow Route 114 south โ it is the main road and the fastest route. The total distance is about 5 miles.
Tip: If you are passing through Shelter Island between the North Fork and the Hamptons, allow about 30 minutes total โ including both ferry crossings and the drive across the island.
